There isn't a time in my life that I can remember not being an artist. The snippets of time that flash in my memory go something like this: drawing portraits on the chalkboard in Nursery School, painting and drawing in my room at twelve-years-old, heading off to Art School! My work is about capturing moments in time. The instant before a child ballerina steps on stage the first time, a sunset reflected on the architecture of an Italian city or an Autumn day reflected in the vineyards of Provence. Using color, line, depth and sheer energy I create emotional snapshots with images that mirror the world around us.

After art school, I made my living in the advertising industry as an illustrator, graphic and web designer. Later, I spent a year living in Italy studying oil painting, drawing, fresco, ceramics, and sculpture. I have resided in Boston for the last five years. My degree is in Commercial Art and Advertising from Texas State Technical College. I attended Arte Sotto Un Tetto in Florence, Italy.
