Debby has been photographing since the 1970’s and spent her summer of 1974 and 1975 at the RISD. In 1976 she headed to Boston to study at the BU School of Fine Arts. Boston has remained her home since Her South End studio is now the incubator for Debby’s photographic explorations and her foray into other artistic mediums such as oil painting, film and metalsmithing. Her work has been featured in a number of Boston galleries, Hollywood films, Television Series, Museums and Art Shows.

Her SoWa studios are open every Sunday and most Saturday’s all year long. Visitors are welcome. There’s always something new to see

SoWa Artist Guild

The SOWA Artists Guild at 450 Harrison Avenue is a non-profit association of professional studio artists. The Guild’s purpose is to promote the diversity and individuality of the artists working in this flagship space, 450 Harrison Ave, the center of the SOWA Art & Design District.

The SOWA Art & Design District of Boston has developed into a major artist community with hundreds of artists’ studios and dozens of galleries. At the center of SOWA, 450 Harrison Avenue is home to over 30 galleries and over 100 artist studios. The members of the SOWA Artist Guild are an eclectic group – from different parts of the world, working in different mediums, each with a unique approach to creative expression.
