I love to immerse myself into the artistry of weaving: color, pattern, texture, and fibers. Weaving is an ancient tradition which has been updated through use of modern materials, patterns, and computer-aided design. I enjoy exploring through the endless possibilities of weaving threads over and under each other. Every new technique I learn comes with a wish list of dozens of possible projects.  And that is the joy of it. I will never exhaust all the possibilities.

The SOWA Artists Guild at 450 Harrison Avenue is a non-profit association of professional studio artists. The Guild’s purpose is to promote the diversity and individuality of the artists working in this flagship space, 450 Harrison Ave, the center of the SOWA Art & Design District.

The SOWA Art & Design District of Boston has developed into a major artist community with hundreds of artists’ studios and dozens of galleries. At the center of SOWA, 450 Harrison Avenue is home to over 30 galleries and over 100 artist studios. The members of the SOWA Artist Guild are an eclectic group – from different parts of the world, working in different mediums, each with a unique approach to creative expression.
