I’ve been weaving for the past 30 years and have enjoyed both the solo nature of the craft and the warm community of weavers.  From my first introduction to weaving, I knew that weaving would play a very important part of my life. The act of weaving and the resulting cloth humble me.

Color in combination with weave structure is one of the main design themes you will see in the scarves and shawls below.  Through the process of warp painting, I am able to indulge my need for color and the desire to produce one of a kind woven pieces.

The SOWA Artists Guild at 450 Harrison Avenue is a non-profit association of professional studio artists. The Guild’s purpose is to promote the diversity and individuality of the artists working in this flagship space, 450 Harrison Ave, the center of the SOWA Art & Design District.

The SOWA Art & Design District of Boston has developed into a major artist community with hundreds of artists’ studios and dozens of galleries.
