The SOWA Art & Design District of Boston is the home of an artist community with hundreds of artists’ studios and dozens of art galleries. At the center of SOWA, 450 Harrison Avenue is the heart of that art scene with over 20 art galleries and over 80 art studios, making 450 Harrison Avenue one of the best places in New England to buy original art. The members of the SOWA Artists Guild work in various mediums, including painting, printmaking, fiber, collage, drawing, encaustic, sculpture, photography, installation, mixed media, mosaics, and jewelry. They welcome the public regularly into their studios and are happy to answer questions and engage in conversations about their art.
