Duken Delpe is an Haitian-American Artist living in Bellingham, works and shows his artworks in SOWA Boston, Massachusetts. Cultured by a strong and creative Haitian woman, Duken began exploring his passion for the art at the age of ten. At the age of 24, Delpe started his first painting and dreamed about becoming a self made professional Artist. Since then, Duken Delpe has painted his intrigues, dreams, fears, frustrations and happiness. As well as being a self-stating artist, Duken Delpe is also a Chemical Engineer and a Nurse. In the past fifteen years Duken’s art pieces have been based on contemporary conversations, like the Opioids crisis, Gun violence, Environmental crises, and Digital lifestyle. Duken's body of work consists of paintings, sculptures, collages and installation art.
