I have been subjected to discipline all my life. So now I try to allow myself freedom in my art. Sometimes my hand isn’t controlled by my eyes or my brain. I allow it to do anything it wants on the canvas. My subjects come from my travels , my memories and my photographs. We all have similar experiences. We just interpret them in different ways.

The SOWA Artists Guild at 450 Harrison Avenue is a non-profit association of professional studio artists. The Guild’s purpose is to promote the diversity and individuality of the artists working in this flagship space, 450 Harrison Ave, the center of the SOWA Art & Design District.

The SOWA Art & Design District of Boston has developed into a major artist community with hundreds of artists’ studios and dozens of galleries.
