Liza Foley is an expressive and intuitive painter. She paints abstracts and landscapes freely in watercolor, oil and acrylic. She is most known for her poured drip paintings. A former elementary school teacher, she found her niche working with six-eight year olds, from whom she owes her sense of abandon! Liza creates to unleash emotion and provide beauty and vitality to interior spaces and homes. She reacts and responds to the colors and marks as they emerge and happy accidents form. Born and raised on the north shore of Massachusetts, she has always found inspiration for her art from the ocean. Liza received her BFA in Painting and MA in Art Teaching from Boston University and her work lives and breathes in US and international collections.
