Steve is a Signature Member of the American Watercolor Society, the Transparent Watercolor Society of America, the American Society of Marine Artists (ASMA) and the New England Watercolor Society (NEWS). Steve is an Artist Member of the Rockport Art Association, Rockport, MA. the Northshore Arts Association, Gloucester, MA. and the Coast Guard Art Program (COGAP). Steve is a Master Model Shipwright member of the USS Constitution Model Shipwright Guild, Charlestown Navy Yard, Charlestown, MA.

Steve’s art is part of many private and corporate collections throughout the United States and Italy, including the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, the Museum of America and the Sea, Mystic Seaport, Mystic, CT., the Coast Guard Art Program (COGAP), The Heritage Asset Collection at the Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT., the Stevens Memorial Library, North Andover, MA. ,the Noble Maritime Museum, Staten Is., NY., and the Customs House Maritime Museum, Newburyport, MA.

Steve’s artwork was featured in the 2014 HBO mini-series “Olive Kitteridge” starring Frances McDormand, Richard Jenkins and Bill Murray.

Steve is represented by the Maritime Gallery at Mystic Seaport, Mystic, CT. the Gallery at 4 India, Nantucket, the Bowersock Gallery, Provincetown, MA. and Charles Fine Arts, Gloucester, MA.

The SOWA Artists Guild at 450 Harrison Avenue is a non-profit association of professional studio artists. The Guild’s purpose is to promote the diversity and individuality of the artists working in this flagship space, 450 Harrison Ave, the center of the SOWA Art & Design District.

The SOWA Art & Design District of Boston has developed into a major artist community with hundreds of artists’ studios and dozens of galleries. At the center of SOWA, 450 Harrison Avenue is home to over 30 galleries and over 100 artist studios. The members of the SOWA Artist Guild are an eclectic group – from different parts of the world, working in different mediums, each with a unique approach to creative expression.
